	Nominees for Hippo Awards To Be Announced 02/08/10 06:02PM

Jeff Polish of The Monti says his annual Hippo Awards has really become a sought after honor.

The Monti’s Board of Directors nominates three storytelling performances from the past year to the following categories: Best Comedy, Best Drama, and Best Overall.

Members of the The Monti Academy, those who have signed up for the email list, will then vote on the best story from each category.

Winners receive, you guessed it, a Hippo figurine.

Polish says the names of the nominees will be released Tuesday.

The Hippo Awards takes place next Tuesday and will feature a story from Carolina RollerGirl Sarah Miracle Feld among others. For more information on the The Monti, visit themonti.org
