Dylan Farrington says he had bigger things in mind when he went to Hargrave Military Academy after high school.

Eventually, that scholarship came for Dylan, who signed with Kent State University as a defensive back.  Dylan is now enrolled at KSU, and looks back on the recruiting process as a confusing and agonizing time.

What Dylan has done is extraordinary.  In his high school career, he made all-conference his junior and senior year, and was named defensive back of the year for the PAC 6 Conference. 

At Hargrave, he led the team in interceptions and forced three fumbles. Issac Marsh coached Dylan at CHHS, and speaks highly of his former star.

Dylan is looking forward to his career with the Golden Flashes.  And even though it’s far away from home, he says he sees bits of Chapel Hill in Kent, Ohio.

Pretty soon, Golden Flashes fans will love the sight of Farrington dealing out big hits just like he did in Chapel Hill.
