Hansbrough Off to Tough Start in NBA

After a legendary record-setting career at UNC, Tyler Hansbrough was projected to be a non-factor in the NBA by many analysts.  So far, he hasn’t had much of a chance to prove them wrong.

The energetic power forward has missed more than twenty games this season due to a variety of injuries and maladies.  Indiana Pacers coach Jim O’Brien has stated publicly that Hansbrough’s availability after the All-Star break is uncertain.

Psycho T has shown flashes of strong play when healthy, averaging 8.5 points per game in only 17.6 minutes of action per contest.  But playing just 29 of the team’s 51 games doesn’t look so great.

The next chance you’ll get to see Tyler on the basketball court is this Wednesday at the Dean Smith Center, when the Tar Heels host the Duke Blue Devils at 9 p.m.  WCHL will hold a special hour-long Countdown to Tip-Off live from Four Corners sports bar starting at 7 p.m.  You won’t want to miss it.
